In addition to the team volunteers (Coaches and Referees) there are many other tasks that must be done by volunteers: yearbook, photos, awards, schedule games, and on and on. See [Volunteer Roles | link to roles page] for details on each of our volunteer positions. We can not have a season without these volunteers. If you can’t coach or referee, these are a great way to contribute!  Don’t worry, you’ll have lots of support from our experienced volunteers as you learn your role.

We have a few critical open positions. Please consider volunteering to fill these roles:

• Yearbook Coordinator: Collect content (text and photos) from others and work with vendors to create and distribute yearbooks.
• Photo Coordinator: Work with vendor on Picture Day and with teams to collect photos for yearbook and marketing.
• Game Scheduler: Put together the season match schedule for every team and field during the season.

To register as a volunteer:

1) Click here to register. If asked, log in or create an account.

2) If you have registered a child you may not see this page. If you do see this page you will need to click “View Divisions” to the right of “2023 Referee/Board - Belmont/Redwood Shores”.


Check the box next to Board Member. Don’t let the title “Board Member” scare you. It just means folks who do jobs that help the entire region, you aren’t on the hook to run everything. And, then click “View Selected Opportunities”.


3) Check “Select” under “Board Member” under the heading “2023 Referee/Board - Belmont/Redwood Shores”.


4) Click on “Sign up <YOUR NAME>” and then “Continue >” at bottom right.


5) Complete the form.

Make sure to click View/Accept for the “Assumption of Risk” and the “COVID-19 Assumption of Risk”.

Make sure to fill out what size shirt/jersey you wear.

Don’t worry about Concussion Awareness, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, SafeSport, Fingerprinting, and Safe Haven for the moment. You won’t need most of those, and while you will need to take Safe Haven before the season starts, you don’t need to take it to register.
